There is a time when all of the paperwork and training pays off. I just finished my last field placement before I student teach in the Fall. 141 hours spent in a multi-age, 1st/2nd grade classroom. I had the most amazing cooperating teacher and fabulous kiddos.
Look at my "teacher bag" adorned with thumb-print mice. I am so proud of it; I am sporting it everywhere! The cards are so precious, thanking me for spending time in their classroom. I owe them a debt of gratitude for enabling me to experience the joy of teaching, warts and all.
I am excited for my student teaching placement this Fall, back with my amazing cooperating teacher and half of my kiddos.
I am almost to the finish line. Thank God I am in the correct race.
